- Biography
A graduate of Sciences Po and the French School of Journalism (CFJ – Centre de Formation des Journalistes), Valérie Perruchot Garcia began her career as a journalist before moving into communications at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), and later at Roche, GSK, Saint-Gobain, and AXA.
Since 2012, she served as Director of Communications, Public Affairs, and CSR at J&J Innovative Medicine, the pharmaceutical division of Johnson & Johnson.
Throughout her career, she has consistently championed gender equality, contributing to the creation of organizations such as Financi’Elles and Le Siècle des Femmes. More recently, she has supported the founding of Donner des Elles à la Santé, an initiative dedicated to combating discrimination in hospitals.
Passionate about knowledge-sharing, she regularly teaches at institutions such as EFAP, Narratiiv, Sciences Po, and Paris-Sorbonne.
She is the former President of the French Association for Internal Communication (afci) and will join the board of Donner des Elles à la Santé in June.
Valérie is married and the mother of four children. She has been awarded the title of Chevalier in the French National Order of Merit.
