Legislative project to incorporate an amendment into a finance bill
OBJECTIVE
- To make one or more changes to a finance bill (such as the PLFSS) to avoid a potential negative impact on a customer’s business.
APPROACH AND METHODOLOGY
- Proactively monitor the legislation concerned;
- Draft the requested amendments in line with the customer’s needs and expectations;
- Identify the MPs involved and influential in the text, approach them and propose that they support the amendments;
- Monitor changes to legislation and developments in legislative procedures.
