Organising an institutional event at national or regional level
OBJECTIVE
- To organise an event bringing together political and institutional players (members of parliament, administration, ministerial cabinets, health agencies, etc.), as well as representatives of healthcare professionals and patients;
- Make institutional and political players aware of a public health issue and involve them in defining the solutions to be implemented;
- Involve national or local players, depending on the issues identified.
APPROACH AND METHODOLOGY
- Devising an attractive format and theme for the event;
- Draft the event programme, identify speakers and prepare their presentations;
- Mapping out and inviting stakeholders to take part in the event;
- Manage the logistical aspects (room bookings, etc.);
- Follow up the event (communication, minutes, etc.).
