OBJECTIVE

  • Encourage a therapeutic innovation to be favourably received by stakeholders: institutions, politicians, learned societies, patient associations, etc.
  • Support a company in developing its role as a leader and public health player in the treatment of a disease.
 APPROACH AND METHODOLOGY

APPROACH AND METHODOLOGY

  • Identify and approach representatives of healthcare professionals/experts and patient representatives who are committed to and influential in the therapeutic area concerned, and invite them to lead a joint discussion;
  • Identify and contact a political sponsor (parliamentarian) for the process;
  • Draft a consensus document and proposals relating to the health issue in question, based on the discussions held by healthcare professionals and patients;
  • Disseminate the document by organising an institutional event and/or a series of meetings targeting institutional and political players.

  • Consolidate the formation of a community of allies who are convinced and favourable to the marketing of a health product,
  • Use an educational approach to raise awareness among public players,
  • Facilitate negotiations and the launch of the product.
